The Transformers was one of several syndicated half-hour cartoon series of the 1980s. This a line of toys depicting a war between giant robots who could transform into vehicles, animals, and other objects.

Four million years ago, on a distant planet called Cybertron, life existed in the form of sentient robots which could think and feel, called Transformers. The race of Transformers was divided into two main clans. Autobots (known as Cybertrons in the Japanese cartoon), led by Optimus Prime, wished for peaceful co-existence. Decepticons (known as Destrons in the Japanese version), under the command of Megatron, sought conflict and universal conquest. Both sides were embroiled in an ages old war for supremacy.

Zorro, which is Spanish for "fox", is the story of a masked rider who battles the unjust rulers of the pueblo of Los Angeles during the days of Spanish rule. Diego returns from his studies in Spain and discovers that Los Angeles is under the command of Capitan Monastario, a cruel man who relishes in the misuse of his power for personal gain. Knowing that he cannot hope to single-handedly defeat Monastario and his troops, Diego resorts to subterfuge. He adopts the secret identity of Zorro, a sinister figure dressed in black, and rides to fight Monastario's injustice. Zorro was created in 1919 by writer Johnston McCulley. The first Zorro story, The Curse of Capistrano, appeared that year in All-Star Weekly, which became Argosy magazine. More than 65 Zorro books and short stories were to follow, with an estimated 500 million readers around the world following in the masked avenger's exploits in 26 languages before McCulley's death on November 22, 1958 at age 75.

With that sort of reader interest, it was inevitable that the Zorro story be made into a film. In fact, there have been many filmed versions, beginning with Douglas Fairbanks Sr.'s portrayal of Zorro in the 1920 silent production The Mark of Zorro. The Green Hornet was originated from a local Radio program (WXYZ later ABC) It was aired for about 17 years in Detroit America. The premise of the Green Hornet was that of a modern day Lone Ranger. The main character was Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher of the Daily Sentinel by day and the Green Hornet by night. Britt Reid was the great-nephew of the Lone Ranger. Britt Reid's war against crime was an extension of his family history. The Green Hornet fought crime with his high-powered car, the Black Beauty. He also utilized a gun that fired knockout gas instead of bullets. His fists also came in handy on a regular basis. He was assisted by his Filipino valet, Kato. Kato would drive the Black Beauty, keep watch out for the police or the bad guys and sometimes lend a helping fist to the fighting. The Green Hornet pretended to be a villain while really battling the forces of crime in the big city. This would make for some interesting plot twists as the Green Hornet would be actively avoiding detection by the police while at the same time attempting to destroy criminal activity in the city. Many times the Green Hornet would lead the police to believe that the Green Hornet had been the mastermind of the case at hand. The police would receive an anonymous tip of where they could pick up the now subdued crooks with the Green Hornet just barely making his escape from the scene. The Green Hornet would be alerted to criminal activity through his job as editor of the Daily Sentinel. The crime stories would lead Britt Reid to transform into the Green Hornet to battle crime at night.

Tales from the Darkside is a popular horror/sci-fi anthology tv series, produced by George A. Romero, which is similar to some sci-fi series like The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limit and Night Gallery. The series composed of short stories of strange tales that are mostly centered on horror stories around us, more likely considered science fictions or fantasy-based. Although few episodes were lighter comedic, some episodes were creepy that some who watch it few or alone scare them to death. The opening foreboding voice-over:
"Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality.
But, there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real,
but not as brightly lit..... A DARKSIDE."
The plot formula of the series comprised from initially normal, mundane situation and then gradually twist into off-kilter, building up suspense and ending up with surprise conclusion, letting the viewers learn to appreciate that things are not often as they seem. Special episodes of tales are adapted work of famous genre authors like Clive Barker, Harlan Ellison and Stephen King. Each episodes also end up with voice-over:

"The dark side is always there, waiting for us to enter, waiting to enter us.

Many of the props used on this tv show were also used on "Land of the Giants", "Lost in Space", "The Time Tunnel" and "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea".

The Batman tv show managed to draw some pretty big names of that time as guest stars. Some of them included Milton Berle, Art Carney, Joan Collins, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Carolyn Jones, Bruce Lee, Liberace, Ethel Merman, Roddy McDowall, Vincent Price and Shelley Winters.

Alan Napier who played Alfred the butler's cousin in real life was Neville Chanberlain who was the Prime Minister of Britain from 1937-1940!

The Batmobile was a modified 1955 Lincoln Futura.

Back in a day when you didn't hear so much about using seatbelts, Batman & Robin always did. In fact, the tv show honored by the National Safety Council for doing so!

For the first short season and second full season, the show had a distinction that few others can claim. It was one of the few programs ever on television to be aired two nights per week from January of 1966 to March of 1967! Most of those episodes were 2-parters with the first one ending with something terrible about to happen. Then you'd hear the announcer say, "Tune in tommorrow night; Same Bat-time, Same Bat-Channel"! You simply had to tune in the next night to find out what
happened!

Created by Sidney Sheldom, I dream of Jeannie was an American comedy sitcom, aired at NBC from 1965 to 1970 in response from great success of the rival network ABC Bewitched.

Starring Barbara Eden (Jeannie), I Dream of Jeannie is all about genie who was imprisoned in the bottle for 2,000 years, until one day from a failed outer space mission Catain Tony Nelson (Larry Hagman) an astronaut stranded in an Island and found the bottle. He set out the beautiful lady. Like the legend states, the one who frees the genie will become s its masters. Being the first man to see for 2000 years, Jeannie developed with the Captain. But the Captain urges that they are even and the Captain tell the genie that she is free to go. But genie follows Tony home. Eventually the 2000 year old Jeannie and the Captain develop their relation ship and finally got married.

One of the best, outrageous comedy Tv show of the 20^th century. The Three Stooges Tv Show was aired on the 1^st of september 1930 and ended on the 4^th of June 1959. The series follows the exploits and The Three Stooges namely Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Hooward or Shemp Howard or Joe Besser or Culy-Joe DeRita. The Three Stooges were originally consist of brother Moe and Curly with their friend Larry But Curly was later replaced by Shemp one of their brother as he suppered from stroke but Shemp died and replaced by Joe then later on by Curly-Joe. They are good but fools as they have the ability to screw up even the simplest things to do.
