Terrorist organisation causing problems? Tin pot dictatorship in East European country needs bringing down? Want to rid yourself of an organised crime boss? Who are you going to call? In the 1960s and 1970s, the A-team wasn't around, so the government called in IMF, the Impossible Mission Force.

IMF was composed of secret agents employed by the US government. They were given various missions to battle evil organizations and those who starts crimes. IMF was headed by Dan Briggs played by Steven Hill who was cold and willing to kill if it'll be needed on his mission but he was replaced by Jim Phelps played by Peter Graves as the team leader with the reason never revealed. The Dan and Jim who are the leaders are the only full-time members of IMF as they will choose their agents for the mission according to what abilities is needed for the said tasks. They were joined by Barney Collier played by Greg Morris who was the techno wizard; Willy Armitage played by Peter Lupus; Rollin Hand played by Martin Landau and The Great Paris played by Leonard Nimoy and both are master of disguises; Cinnamon Carter, Lisa Casey, Dana Lambert and Mimi Davis are all the Femme Fatale played by Barbara Bain, Lynda Day George, Lesley Ann Warren, and Barbara Anderson respectively.
